Chris is a resource industry professional with over 24 years experience across global operations, planning, technology strategy and technology investment evaluation. He a passion in business transformation and step-change performance through innovation and technology.  

Chris was previously Principle Innovation and Emerging Technology at BHP where he managed the development of new mining technologies working with strategic partners globally, with a focus on deep mining, sustainable mining and processing of the future across commodities

Chris’ specialties include technology / business strategy and competitive advantage; innovation strategy and portfolio value / prioritisation; scenario / option analysis; techno-economic evaluation; and supply chain optimization.

Chris has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours), an Advanced Diploma in Project Management, and a Master of Business Administration.
