Sharna Glover

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Sharna is the Co-Founder and CEO of Imvelo. She has over 30 years of experience in the resources sector with her career focusing on engineering, technology and people. Her career has spanned from working in the largest global mining and processing house (BHP) for twenty years to being the co-founder of Imvelo which which delivers novel resource engineering models and operational support to the productive embedment of autonomous electrified systems

Alan Bye

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Alan is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Imvelo. He has more than 30 years’ experience, across 15 countries and 9 commodities, in operational and strategic roles in the mining industry focused on the innovation and integration of the value chain. His career has included Vice President Technology at BHP, in his global role he was accountable for the execution of major innovation programs across 5 commodity value chains adopting digital and extractive technologies.

Alastair has over 30 years experience in the resources industry  in operations, technology, and corporate roles to successfully strategize, implement, and support cross value chain automation and technology projects across diverse regions, including Africa, Australia, North and South America.  Alastair had an extensive career at Rio Tinto including Head of Automation Centre of Excellence and General Manager Mining Automation and Analytics, and Head of Mine Modernisation at Anglo American.

Chris is a Partner in Imvelo and a resources industry professional with over 16 years’ experience across global operations, mine planning, operational technology strategy and technology investment evaluation.  Chris is passionate about business transformation and step-change performance through innovation and technology.  He held senior roles inside BHP’s iron ore division, as well as global roles in technology, geoscience, projects and engineering.

Jeremy Abercrombie

Partner

Jeremy is a hands-on full stack software engineer with decades of experience delivering sustainable software into production for the companies he has worked for. Jeremy has held roles at Anglo American as Principal Application Developer, and at BHP as Innovation Lead. Most recently he led the inception, architecture and development of a web-based supply chain modelling system utilising large scale cloud compute for numerical analysis, simulation and optimisation.
