Scott is a technology transformation specialist with over 10 years experience in the resources industry. Scott has extensive experience in senior operational roles, including Head of Strategy – Value Chain Automation and Head of Partnerships – Global Innovation and Ventures at BHP.

Scott is highly skilled in Executive coaching, performance management, international project management, investor relations, and strategic consulting. He created from zero the strategic thought and direction for BHP’s automation strategy, and led the team to produce numerous Board and Executive papers plus associated support material. The strategy explored in great depth the value attached to opportunities in physical automation, digital transformation, IIoT/Industry 4.0, innovation agenda as well as impacts on labour, economics, communities, partnership and commercial structures. 

Scott has a Bachelor of Economics, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts.
