Joe Huelin

Joe is an experienced mine engineer, with over 24 years industry experience and over 16 years in open cut mine planning. Throughout his career, Joe has held many Mining Engineer roles including short term planning, drill and blast, through to senior management. He has had extensive experience with low margin, complex coal deposits.

More recently, Joe has gained exposure in the Mine Closure space, and has a solid understanding of the principles of Integrated Mine Closure. His new business venture, Practical Mining Consultants, is bridging the gaps between execution and strategic planning by providing solutions that are tailored to the unique requirements of site operations.

Joe works with the Imvelo team on automation operational reviews bringing key experience in operational practices, mine design and short-term scheduling.
